Pontoon Reminder
Members are reminded that:
BOATS SHOULD NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED ON THE LOADING AND UNLOADING BERTH
Please move off as soon as possible after you have unloaded.
If there is a problem which means that you cannot return to your mooring then please always move up the pontoon and if necessary raft (up to 3 deep) up against another boat in order to leave the unloading berth free.
If there are really exceptional circumstances which make it absolutely impossible to move from this berth then please phone one of the Creek masters (or if this is not possible then any other committee member) in order to agree a plan of action before leaving your boat.
We are trying to make the use of the pontoon as easy as possible for all members, but, this can only work if the rules concerning the marked 24hr and unloading berths are observed. Fines apply for unauthorised overstays.
Thank you for your cooperation, please do not hesitate to contact me if you have suggestions how we can make the pontoon work better.
AT THE FAR END OF THE PONTOON .
