The Hole (or exploits of Tom The Tank)
Everyone knows that if you dig a hole someone has to look down it. Several people have enjoyed this pleasure recently in the compound, but for those of you that could not inspect in person I thought you should have the chance of a few minutes hole gazing.
Tom Hatch had to go one better and get in it . . . .
. . . . but eventually after the snow and freezing wind had stopped he came out again, leaving behind a new 10mm steel floor and a new coat of cold galvanising.
Seriously though a great job was done. If you meet Tom at the bar over the next few weeks I suggest you buy him a pint he's certainly done us proud. Not to forget Brian who was outside in the snow and freezing wind providing backup and support for Tom, and maybe a half for several other people who assisted.
Hopefully by next weekend (11/3) Russ will have the pipe reconnected, to everyones great relief!
