Information for Visitors
Welcome to Ashlett Sailing club (formerly Esso sailing club). We hope you enjoy your visit. We are a section of the Waterside Sports and Social Club and so in addition to the facilities at the sailing club you are invited to have a drink and a meal in our bar at the Ashlett Mill (the large building at the top of the creek)
Moorings|
Visitors are welcome to use the downstream side of the pontoon and we ask you to go as far along the pontoon as possible (but don't forget that the whole pontoon dries pretty quickly after second high water)
Please raft to maximise space and please do not block the two end berths on the up stream side of the pontoon as these are 24hr and a loading /
unloading only. |

Please note that if you are visiting the "Jolly Sailor" you should moor on Victoria Quay at the head of the creek.
Toilets and Showers
The code for the toilets and showers can be obtained in the clubhouse or from the bar staff in the Ashlett Mill.
Tides
There are two high tides in the creek and details can be found posted on the wall of the toilet block. Please be aware that the tides go out very quickly after second high water. If staying over low water please take care to check the height of the next tide carefully to avoid being neaped on our pontoon if the tides are falling.
